What are you in for? (Roles and responsibilities)

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the below:

 Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them

into technical solutions within ServiceNow.

 Performing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance

and security.

 Creating and maintaining documentation, including process flows, technical designs, and

standard operating procedures.

 Troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and providing technical support to end-users.

 Developing and maintaining ServiceNow integrations with other systems and


 Staying informed about ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends to

continually improve platform utilization.

 Works with the rest of the ServiceNow platform team, Platform and Process Owners on

configuring and maintaining ServiceNow Platform components.

 Have a software development background that will be enhanced by ServiceNow System

Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow,

and Application Creation in ServiceNow.2

 Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error

identification/ remediation.

 Extensive review of new version release notes by identifying and documenting changes

to Platform functionality to understand impact (positive/negative) to implementation.

 Ensure latest upgrades and features are enabled.

 Work with ServiceNow and the community by participating in local user groups and

knowledge events to expand Platform knowledge and network.

Job Responsibilities


8- 10 years of ServiceNow Administrator experience.


 CSA ServiceNow Certificate

 Other platform focused module experience is a bonus.

 Basic understanding of Business Processes

 Understanding of admin activities on the platform (esp. basic scripting, data uploads,

groups/roles management, patch management etc.)

 ServiceNow System Administrator training

 Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.

 Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum)

 Advanced System Administration
