Job Description


  • Identify potential 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler OEM's within the EV industry, specifically focusing on lithium-ion battery applications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively onboard prospects as customers.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with customers, secure letter of intents (LOI) and acquire new customers.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Conduct follow-ups, negotiations, and effectively close sales related to lithium-ion battery interconnect equipment and services, chargers, BMS and other electronics developed by R&D to generate revenue.
  • Maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Gather and analyse market data to understand market conditions and identify opportunities within the e mobility and ESS markets.
  • Refine the sales funnel and strategies based on market insights.
  • Key Decision Maker Identification:
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision makers/influencers within target companies, particularly those involved in lithium-ion battery procurement.
  • Customer Requirements and Product Support:
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to gather customer requirements, Statements of Requirements (SORs), and product specifications, particularly for lithium-ion battery applications.
  • Facilitate sample submission and coordinate with the application team for prototyping lithium-ion battery packs using our in-house battery interconnect solutions.
  • Events Representation:
  • Represent the company in expos, seminars, trade shows, and other industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads for our equipment and services.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of various trackers including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales reports, presentations, and brochures, with a specific focus on lithium-ion battery interconnection related equipment and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate the Business Development (BD) and Sales team to achieve sales targets and company objectives, with emphasis on lithium-ion battery interconnection related equipment and services.
  • Regularly review team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Marketing Coordination:
  • Manage company digital assets such as the LinkedIn page and coordinate with external agencies to execute marketing activities and meet objectives, with a focus on promoting lithium-ion battery interconnection related equipment and services.
