Job Description
- Our engineering team members often work on a diverse range of problems, all across the product development lifecycle and using the latest tech stack. Below are some of the broad areas that we are currently working on:
- Extending Kombai's code generation abilities to make it compatible with new frameworks and libraries
- Improving the accuracy and quality of Kombai's code generation capabilities by optimizing existing algorithms and/or implementing new novel ones
- Integrations with various tools and platforms
- Discovering solutions for specific problems for frontend and full-stack developers, and implementing features and workflows to solve them
- Building multiple applications, e. g., browser plugins, IDE apps, web apps, etc.
- Making our app and infrastructure performant at scale
- This is an individual contributor role and is best suited for folks who want to build long-term careers as world-class engineering ICs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a directly related field (e. g. Maths and Computing) from tier-1 colleges in India or abroad.
- Prior experience working in the early (seed/ series A stage) team of a product-based start-up with an excellent engineering org.
Job Responsibilities
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in excellent engineering teams, including at least 5 years of fully hands-on experience on the latest JS development.
- Solid understanding of good frontend engineering & architecture practices.
- Note: Our engineering team members will work across all parts of the product development lifecycle. However, we believe a good understanding of application building in general, and frontend engineering in particular, is important to understand our problem space, product, and target users.
- Strong aptitude for learning and logical problem-solving.
- A mindset to commit for 3-4 years.
