Job Description
- 4-7 years of experience in backend software development with Java
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with non relation databases (e.g. MongoDB, Neo4j)
- Experience with search platforms (e.g Elasticsearch, Solr)
- Experience with building and maintaining APIs (RESTful preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A passion for building high-quality software
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex backend systems using Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, JPA, etc.)
- Develop and maintain efficient and scalable database solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Implement secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain robust APIs
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Java technologies and best practices
