Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Network Protocols |Multiple Locations|4+years

• Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in information security, security automation, and/or DevSecOps.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and architecture.
• Experience building and/or operating access control, authentication, and/or authorization systems.
• Familiarity with security technologies like SIEM, WAF, EDR, and SAST.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

1. Security Infrastructure Management :

• Implement and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection /prevention systems, antivirus software, and other security tools.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses.

2. Incident Response and Monitoring :

• Develop and maintain incident response plans, and lead investigations into security incidents.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents; participate in on-call rotation for incident response.

3. Policy and Compliance :

• Establish and enforce security policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure security controls are integrated into all aspects of the development and operational processes.

4. Security Awareness and Training :

• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees, ensuring a strong security culture throughout the organization.

5. Emerging Threat Analysis :

• Stay current on the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threats; evaluate and recommend emerging security technologies.
