Job Description
- 7-8 years of experience in client and project management.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of agile frameworks or methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) or understanding of software development life cycle models, as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills with product management and delivery teams.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
Job Responsibilities
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services.
- Elevate the team's performance by recognizing strengths and areas for improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Ensure Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Coach the Scrum Team in self-organization, cross-functional skill sets, domain knowledge, and effective communication, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Team and internal/external stakeholders to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams.
- Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of Scrum application within the organization.
- Work with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
- Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Act as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and, to a lesser degree, important departmental initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
