Job Description

  • Job Title: SAP PI/PO
  • Location: Bangalore
  • Experience Required: 5 to 8 years
  • We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PI/PO Consultant to join our dynamic IT team in Bangalore. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO) to help our business achieve seamless data integration and process automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining our SAP integration landscapes to ensure optimal performance and alignment with our business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP PI/PO with a thorough understanding of its architecture and deployment.
  • Strong technical skills in SAP NetWeaver PI/PO, including Integration Builder, Repository, and Directory.
  • Proficiency in handling various adapters such as File, HTTP, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, etc.
  • Expertise in XML technologies like XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Experience in creating and managing integration scenarios and have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with ABAP development and monitoring tools is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in SAP PI/PO is highly preferred.
  • Experience with newer SAP integration technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of S/4 HANA integration aspects is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and optimize SAP PI/PO solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop integration flows (iflows) and configure adapters in SAP PI/PO environments.
  • Manage SAP PI/PO system architecture and integration design.
  • Conduct mappings (Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping) and develop custom functions within the PI/PO environment.
  • Collaborate with functional and business teams to gather requirements, design appropriate solutions, and provide process consultancy.
  • Ensure proper error handling, logging, auditing, and monitoring of SAP integrations.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, patching, and upgrades, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any SAP PI/PO related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Document all technical specifications and maintain an accurate record of all system changes.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and end-users on SAP PI/PO functionalities and best practices.
