  • Role Overview:
  • The Sales & Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing, executing, and overseeing marketing and sales strategies while acting as a key liaison between the company and external partners, such as shippers, Customs House Agents (CHA), exporters, importers, and freight forwarders. This role combines a blend of relationship management, business development, and strategic marketing to support the company’s growth objectives in the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Job Description:
  •       Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand relationships with existing customers (shippers, importers, exporters, freight forwarders).
  •       Identify market trends and opportunities to build new business pipelines.
  •       Establish sales targets, monitor performance, and optimize strategies to ensure the achievement of revenue goals.
  •       Engage in direct sales activities, including customer meetings, negotiations, and presentations to promote the company’s services.
  •       Develop campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  •       Act as the primary point of contact for all external partners, including shippers, Customs House Agents (CHA), importers, exporters, and freight forwarders.
  •       Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of logistics operations and timely delivery of services.
  •       Manage communication between internal teams and external partners to address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  •       Provide regular updates on sales performance, client engagements, and marketing effectiveness.
  •       Track and analyze key metrics related to customer acquisition, retention, and overall sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Requirements:
  •       Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  •       Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
  •       Strong understanding of international shipping, import/export processes, and freight forwarding logistics.
  •       Proven experience in managing relationships with external partners such as shippers, CHAs, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.
  • Skills:
  •       Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  •       Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and sales trends.
  •       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  •       Strong relationship management abilities with key stakeholders
  •       Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales/marketing tools.
