The candidate MUST be a PhD in the domain of energy management especially for smart home and building environment.
Preferable to have masters in the same domain.
Proficiency in ML/DL algorithms and implementation in the domain of smart home/building energy management and time series energy data handling.
Very good expertise on using related libraries (say in Python and R, like Tensorflow/PyTorch, Scikit-learn etc.).
Good programming skill in energy specific domain is highly desirable.
MUST have proven track record of research in this domain.
Job Responsibilities
Thorough understanding of energy management systems like demand-response based energy management, time-of-day based energy management, energy profiling for smart home activities etc.
Sound mathematical modelling skills to model energy management scenarios.
Proficiency in energy consumption/storage/production internals for smart devices like AC, HVAC, Solar Panel, Energy Storing Batteries, Smart Switch Panels, Smart Plugs that are commonly used for energy management.
Deep understanding of natural human behaviours (like presence, indoor positioning etc.) in relation to energy consumption and other external parameters like weather, comfort, clothing etc.
