  • Must have a good grasping power & a constant learner to create the work breakdown structure of the project.
  • Must be a good Team player.
  • Report preparation skills

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to Regulation / Compliances in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Project Management and/or coordination experience
  • Pays attention to detail at work.

Preference

  • Having a thorough technical knowledge and a flair for managing uncertainties, along with an ability to take independent decisions within the framework, will be good combination.

Job Responsibilities

The project manager (PM) is responsible for managing the overall engineering deliverables for an assigned project, including budgeting and scheduling. Project management activities include estimation, planning/scheduling, progress reporting, and coordination with various disciplines. The PM must understand the overall direction, priority, and schedules to execute the project and work with various

discipline leads to delivering successful solutions to the client. Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing project plans, including the project execution plans (PEP) and design basis memorandums (DBM)
  2. Managing project budgets
  3. Managing manpower schedules for engineering deliverables
  4. Ensuring the quality of drawings, models and other design reviews
  5. Overseeing construction work packages (CWPs), including bills of materials, isometrics, scope, layout, instrumentation lists, and specialty items lists
  6. Producing scopes of work for civil, piping, skids and pipe rack modules among others
  7. Coordinating CWPs, trends, scope changes, design change notices (DCN) and field change notice (FCN)
  8. Managing all action items to ensure they are completed on schedule
  9. Overseeing the change management process and ensuring its effective implementation
  10. Contributing to and monitoring project KPIs, earned value and controls reporting
  11. Knowledge of engineering terms, design requirements, processes, and document types
  12. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation and CAD support.
  13. Understanding of project controls, reporting, and KPIs
  14. Strategic managerial skills and experience
  15. Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits
  16. Conduct KOM with the Sub-Vendors
  17. Attend meeting with the client/PMC
  18. Regular coordination with client/PMC
  19. Prepare cashflow of the Projects
  20. Review Meeting with the clients & Sub -Vendors
  21. Well conversant with Primavera, Microsoft, Project Software & ZOHO projects.
  22. Certification of contractor and junior team member bills.
  23. Submission of the weekly reports of budget vs actual, plan vs actual and any hinderances for execution of the projects.
