PHP Developer | 8+ Years | Remote

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements.
• Architect and implement efficient and reusable PHP modules and components.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code for performance and reliability.
• Stay informed about the latest PHP trends, best practices, and technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer, with a minimum of 8 Years in PHP development.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony), and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization, with expertise in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment workflows.
• Ability to lead and contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have:

• Experience with other PHP frameworks and CMS (CodeIgniter, WordPress, etc.).
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Understanding of web security best practices.
