Oracle APEX Developer | Remote | 3+ yrs

We are seeking a talented and experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient applications using Oracle APEX (Application Express). Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements.
• Design and develop scalable and user-friendly applications using Oracle APEX.
• Create and maintain database objects (tables, views, triggers, etc.) to support APEX applications.
• Customize and extend Oracle APEX components, themes, and templates.
• Implement data validations, business logic, and security controls within APEX applications.
• Integrate APEX applications with external systems and databases.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization for APEX applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX application development.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle APEX features, updates, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain code quality.

• Proven experience as an Oracle APEX Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle APEX development, including creating forms, reports, charts, and dashboards.
• Experience with APEX themes and templates customization.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database concepts and performance tuning.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have:

• Oracle APEX certifications.
• Knowledge of Oracle RESTful Web Services and integration with APEX.
• Experience with version control systems and deployment methodologies.
• Understanding of Oracle Cloud services and integration with APEX.
• Familiarity with mobile application development using Oracle APEX.
