  • type : Permanent role with an Automotive Engineering Service Company
  • Network Designers will be responsible for designing and managing the Service Delivery Backbone (SDB) within the automotive engineering service company. This role requires expertise in CN (Configuration Management) tools for SDB designing, release and change management of SDB, and ensuring consistency across various domains. Additionally, Network Designers will be involved in defining SDB guidelines and rulesets to maintain the integrity and reliability of the network infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network design and management, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in CN tools for SDB designing and configuration management.
  • Strong understanding of release and change management processes within a network infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in coordinating development releases and addressing build issues in SDB.
  • Ability to conduct consistency checks and identify inconsistencies across network domains.
  • Familiarity with defining and enforcing guidelines and rulesets for network infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • CN Tool Expertise: Act as an expert in CN tools for designing the Service Delivery Backbone (SDB) infrastructure.
  • Release and Change Management: Manage the release and change management processes for SDB, ensuring timely delivery of updates and enhancements.
  • SDB Development Releases: Coordinate and support SDB development releases to address build issues and resolve system inconsistencies.
  • Consistency Checks: Conduct consistency checks across different domains to identify and resolve issues related to network configurations.
  • Guidelines and Rulesets: Define and enforce SDB guidelines and rulesets to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Support System Weaver/Star Weaver: Collaborate with the system weaver and star weaver teams to integrate function-specific work into the SDB layer.
