Job Description
- Role : Lead Cognos Data Engineer
- Must-Have :
- 8+ yrs of experience in Cognos Tools such as Cognos BI - Framework manager, Analysis Studio, Report studio, Event Studio, Query studio etc.
- Experience in Design and development of enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions with Cognos , Cognos10.2 repor studio and query studio etc.
- Excellent Knowledge in Data Warehousing Concepts.
- Good analytical and logical skills in writing SQLs and knowledge of Different DBs (Oracle, SqlServer, Snowflake)
- Excellent communication skills, ability to represent him / herself in daily stand up calls with customer
- Document functional and technical requirements for the metadata layer and the BI reports
- Good to Have :
- Knowledge/Experience of Looker (business intelligence software and big data analytics platform) will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Working with business users to design and develop Cognos BI reports using Report Studio with data drill-down and slice-and-dice options.
- Guide team technically on various aspects of project development
- Be accountable for the delivery of the project in the defined timelines with good quality.
- Should be comfortable travel to Chennai, Bangalore, and Pune as and when required.
- Key Skills: Cognos, SQL, BI Reporting
- Education: Graduate from a reputed institute.
