Job Description

  • Skills: Core Java, RESTful web services, Java Servlet/JSP, MVC patterns, JavaScript, AngularJS, Java Webserver, SQL Server.
  • Supporting the Student Information System (SIS) SaaS environment (K-12)
  • Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum/Extreme programming team environment Produce high quality code, on time and on target
  • Research and understand product requirements to ensure success Engineer software through its complete life cycle
  • Working with the Product vendor to support the deployment of the COTS Student Information System
  • Developing and modifying customized Java code for specific applications
  • Developing and modifying customized SQL Server procedures supporting the Enterprise Environment
  • Applying DevOps best practices
  • Documenting work as required following development standards

Job Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 8+ Years Strong Java development and SSIS skills (RESTful web services, Java Servlet/JSP, MVC patterns)
  • Strong web development skills (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular JS)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong object-oriented
