Job Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
  • Years of experience working with AWS IAM services.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python PowerShell or AWS CLI.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Experience in creating and managing IAM role templates and personas.
  • Experience with standard service roles service-linked roles and other commonly used roles for core AWS services.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. NIST ISO GDPR).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty or similar certifications.
  • Knowledge of other AWS security services such as AWS KMS, AWS Shield and AWS WAF.
  • Experience with multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations.
  • Prior experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role.

Job Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced AWS IAM Developer to join our team. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) services and will be working on designing, implementing and managing secure access controls within our AWS environment. 
  • This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and implement IAM policies roles and groups to manage user access within AWS.
  • Create and manage IAM role templates and personas to standardize access control across the organization.
  • Design and manage standard service roles service-linked roles and other commonly used roles with core AWS services such as EC2 S3 Lambda RDS and others.
  • Develop and maintain automated processes for user provisioning deprovisioning and access management.
  • Implement and manage AWS SSO (Single Sign-On) and integrate with existing identity providers (IdPs).
  • Conduct regular security audits and reviews of IAM policies and practices to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues providing technical support and guidance to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with security compliance and operations teams to develop and enforce IAM best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM processes and configurations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS IAM and related technologies.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
