Position Title/Rank : Graphic Designer I-II / 30-29
Reports to : Reports Administratively to one of the following : Director, Global Production Services or Administrative Manager / Coordinator within Unit
Reports Functionally to : Director, Global Production Services
Primary Function : Provide high-quality presentations in accordance with Kearney guidelines in a deadline-oriented Production Department.
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and strong skills in Word and/or Excel
Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator highly recommended.
Knowledge of InDesign, think-cell, Visio, SharePoint, programming skills and mapping applications a plus.
Must have excellent graphic design skills, creativity and knowledge of working with colors.
Strong professionalism and a team player.
Able to maintain confidentiality.
Good communication skills. Able to speak well with all levels of employees both within the local office and with GSC Coordinators and customers who may be in remote locations.
Highly reliable, flexible when necessary regarding hours worked and overtime.
Detail oriented. Able to consistently produce error-free work and follow instructions accurately.
Strong customer service focus. Able to resolve conflicts effectively.
Good troubleshooting skills. Able to solve problems.
Takes initiative to enhance skills and learn new software.

Ability to use online tools to find appropriate artwork and other online solutions as needed for projects.
Essential Qualifications :
Outstanding PowerPoint skills and graphic design awareness
Related degree preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Ordinarily this position is an individual contributor and as such does not directly supervise anyone.
Job Responsibilities
Create presentations in PowerPoint using Kearney format guidelines. In a reasonable amount of time, develop mastery of the customized Kearney ribbon macros to improve speed and accuracy
Participate in global Single Point of Entry workflow model by communicating clearly with India GSC Coordinators with updates regarding your availability at all times. Work with GSC Coordinators and (where applicable) your local Coordinator, and as needed, with consultants to understand and clarify the requirements of the job submission.
Check own work to ensure accuracy: run spell check, review final pages, ensure correct number of pages are returned to the consultant and directions are followed (take responsibility for the job).
Add value to presentations by suggesting alternate design options when time allows
Ensure work meets its deadlines; keep Coordinator and customer updated on status of job.
Manage files electronically and with confidentiality a top priority
Utilize department database accurately to record time worked on each job. Submit weekly timesheets via online system
Secondary Functions and Responsibilities :
Progress beyond PowerPoint in a reasonable amount of time to be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Gradually develop skills in other software as well, to work on more creative and value-added deliverables
Help mentor new employees on software, branding guidelines and departmental procedures.
Provide PowerPoint and branding guidance and troubleshooting tips to customers
Identify problems and provide solutions.
