Job Description

  • Good understanding of variety of electronic components and their function.
  • Design experience on Digital circuits, Analog circuits and microcontroller based design.
  • Creates hardware documentation e.g. BOM, design and test specifications.
  • Performs activities after serial launch, e.g. change and obsolescence management.
  • Experience/exposure on board bring-up testing, prototype testing and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Experience/exposure on Circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE, LTSpice and able to perform reviews.
  • Knowledge of schematic capture tools like Cadstar, Orcad, Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and able to perform reviews.
  • Perform MATHCAD calculation (i.e. in excel or tool) based on hardware design and able to perform reviews.
  • Perform Pre-compliance EMI/EMC test according to IEC/EN requirement.
  • Guide Junior engineer from technical point of view.
  • Understanding of PCB layout and able to perform Layout review.
