The Electronics Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of electronic products through contract manufacturers (EMS).
The role requires strong technical expertise, process optimization skills, and the ability to navigate the manufacturing ecosystem efficiently.
The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely production while collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
This role also involves managing the supply chain by providing raw materials from our company to EMS partners and ensuring the receipt of finished products.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and recommend improvements for cost, speed, and quality.
Provide technical support during the production process to resolve issues efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to electronic components assembly.
Design and implement testing procedures for product quality assurance.
Monitor and ensure product quality through every stage of the manufacturing process.
Conduct failure analysis and determine corrective actions for quality issues.
Work closely with product design engineers to ensure manufacturability and design for assembly (DFA/DFM).
Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to ensure a seamless transition from prototype to full-scale production.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes, procedures, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC, RoHS, and ISO certifications.
Ensure all manufacturing processes meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Manage raw material supply to EMS providers and ensure the timely receipt of finished products.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
4-5 Years Experience in electronics manufacturing, with a strong background in circuit board assembly, soldering, and electronics testing.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively with contract manufacturers and navigate supply chain challenges.
Strong communication and project management skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with EMS providers and contract manufacturers.
Hands-on experience with SMT, through-hole assembly, and reflow soldering.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for managing production planning and inventory.
