Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven expertise in data engineering, ETL development, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in AWS Glue ETL, AWS Redshift, Data Modeling, SQL, and Python.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing concepts.
- Experience in S3 bucket management and data storage best practices.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for team-oriented work.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced AWS environment in AWS Glue ETL, AWS Redshift, Data Modelling techniques, SQL, and Pythmultiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes using AWS Glue to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing and storage within AWS Redshift.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and create data models that facilitate accurate reporting and analysis.
- Write complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and manipulate data for analysis and reporting.
- Leverage Python programming skills to automate data processes and build custom solutions as needed.
- Manage AWS Cloud resources, including S3 buckets, to ensure data availability, security, and scalability.
- Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain data quality, integrity, and performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve data engineering processes.
