Job Description & Responsibilities

Backend Development:
Lead the design and implementation of backend services using FastAPI (Python) to ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions.
Architect and manage microservices using Kubernetes and Docker for seamless deployment and scalability.
Develop and maintain backend infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Cosmos DB for database management.
Optimize backend systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and low latency.
Project Management:
Oversee backend-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend processes, systems, and codebases.
Manage and mentor a team of backend interns, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and contributions.
Set and track KPIs and KRAs for the backend team, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
Technical Leadership:
Engage in hands-on coding to address complex backend challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure backend system reliability and security.
Provide hands-on support to interns, helping them understand complex concepts and improve their coding skills.
Continuously monitor and optimize backend performance to scale with user growth and evolving business needs.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Frontend Lead and other team members to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to align backend development with overall product objectives.
