- We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium and Python to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Python for test automation.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application testing.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, specifically using Selenium and Python.
- Experience with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Job Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
- Create and manage automated test frameworks and tools.
- Implement test automation for web applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand testing requirements and develop appropriate test plans.
- Execute automated test cases and report on testing progress and results.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regression testing and ensure that new features and bug fixes are adequately tested.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes.
- Documentation:
- Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports.
