Job Description
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of security best practices and secure architectures.
- Knowledge of security governance, controls, standards, and policies.
- Experience with NIST frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST 800-57, NIST 800-161, NIST-204, NIST-207).
- Experience with O-RAN Security Requirements, Controls, and Protocols.
- Experience with 3GPP Security Specifications 33.501 and 33.310.
- Experience with IEEE 802.1X and IEEE 802.1AE.
Job Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment focused on rapidly identifying, evaluating, and deploying new technologies.
- Interact and build relationships with cross-functional teams including Product, Network, Engineering, and Security to understand project needs, timelines, and operational environments.
- Collaborate with vendors and the broader security community to stay current on the latest security developments and ensure future capabilities align with needs.
- Create threat models and map controls to threats.
- Work with Maintenance Engineering to test security requirements.
- Create a Design Document that includes all security requirements and controls for the solution.
- Review requirements with the project team and address any related questions.
- Communicate progress, requirements, and issues to ensure successful handoff of deliverables to operational teams.
- Build domain knowledge of the environment to understand long-term risk areas as systems evolve.
- Collaborate on Technical Requirements, Specifications, Proposals, High-Level Designs, and other engineering documents.
- Conduct detailed technology and security research on industry and vendor solutions.
- Provide thought leadership by participating in industry and security forums and collaborating with academic and research institutions.
