About the Role

We are seeking a talented and data-driven individual to join our client's growing Analytics team as an Assistant Manager or Manager. In this role, you will play a key role in extracting valuable insights from data to support strategic decision-making across the OTT (audio/video/sound recording/publishing) business.


Responsibilities:


Data Analysis

  • Understand and interpret OTT reports provided by DSPs and publishers.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and implement data analysis methodologies.
  • Extract actionable insights from data to inform business decisions.

Data Visualization

  • Create clear and visually appealing data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards).
  • Effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Business Insights

  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to the business.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve business strategies and operations.

Reporting

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management and other teams.
  • Automate reporting processes using Excel or third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate information delivery.

Predictive Analytics (Manager Level)

  • Build predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes based on competitor analysis, past song trends, and artist performance (applicable to the Manager role).
  • Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques for predictive analysis (applicable to the Manager role).

Data Quality Assurance

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues.

Data Integration

  • Integrate data from various sources and systems for a holistic view.
  • Streamline data extraction and transformation processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data requirements.
  • Tailor insights and reports to meet specific business requirements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics.
  • Continuously enhance data analytics techniques and tools used in the role.


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in data analytics with an overall experience of 5-7 years (Assistant Manager) or 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in leading data analytics projects (Manager).
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and SQL querying.
  • Proficiency in one or more BI tools (Tableau, Metabase, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and statistical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in data analytics.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the OTT or media and entertainment industry (a plus).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (a plus).
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence (a plus for the Manager role).
