Responsible for driving all initiatives in the BSS (Business Support System) majorly Charging, Mediation & it’s relevant connectivity with Provisioning domains from an architecture & design principles angle for customer projects.
Drive technical aspects of product portfolio and guide R&D teams to develop accordingly to align with customer projects requirements and long terms product strategy.

10+ Years of Experience in the technology industry driving product innovation, architectural roles, and technical sales engagement.
Experience in Telecom industry, BSS/OSS with strong experience on TMF standards.

Very sharp in capturing the vision from Business and Leadership team, as well we industry & customer project requirements and challenges, and convert into a product/solution, working very closely with product owners & R&D team to ensure conformity to the design principles set up upfront.

Lead customer projects from architecture conceptualization through full project lifecycles till acceptance of the delivered solution by leading technical engagement with customers, project team and vendor suppliers.

Good understanding of Cloud Native technologies, development & deployment methods.
Great presentation skills (written and verbal).
Experience in Partner and Vendor Management is desirable.

Job Responsibilities
Review high-level and low-level BSS/OSS product requirements w.r.t Charging and Mediation systems/applications.
Create high-level and low-level architectural design and solution for BSS/OSS integration with CCS apps (North-bound and South-bound system’s integration with Charging/Mediation apps).
Prepare design/solution for Online/Convergent Charging and Mediation applications.
Provide high level solution concept and impact analysis for change requests involving Charging and Mediation apps.
Provide Catalog synchronization design (e.g. between Product catalog, CCS, Service Catalog).
Provide integration solutions for USSD/API gateway with Charging system.
In-depth knowledge across BSS/OSS systems from Charging/Mediation’s CDR specification, LLD, Diameter, Tap/DCH file processing, integration with network nodes, Intercarrier CDRs/nodes, Product/Tariff data model and concepts for Convergent/online charging solution (Tariff/Add-On/wallet/Quota/Threshold), Tariff configuration process, Engaging with charging/mediation product vendors, Designing of charging/Mediation service, health KPIs, Summary audit of Convergent/online charging and mediation solution.
Perform requirement analysis for new change requests involving Charging and Mediation. Engage with client to clarify charging/mediation related requirements for new change requests.
Create solution options with pros and cons and recommendations.
Engage with external vendors/customer for review of design documents.
Provide regular status updates to program on requirements and high-level solution.
Drive the requirements from customer projects and work with R&D leads to ensure correct materialization of product strategy in alignment with market and customer projects need.
Align with all Rakuten Business Units and RCP Customers delivery teams to leverage specific innovations to bring to the core product portfolio.
Drive the architecture and its realization through implementation of BSS solution (based on RCP BSS products portfolio) for customer projects.
