Job Description

  • 3+ years of experience creating templates for Power BI, Tableau or any other BI tool that are visually appealing, user friendly, and align with client goals and objectives
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with UI/UX principles and their application in dashboard design
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices
  • Ability to recommend appropriate chart type for different data scenarios
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with custom visuals and themes

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly UI/UX for our visibility solutions leveraging but not limited to Power BI and Tableau
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with modern UI/UX themes and industry best practices and implement visual elements such as charts, graphs, maps, and tables
  • Good understanding of vertical and horizontal flow of a dashboard or BI suite
  • Simplifying complex data representations and creating an intuitive experience by reducing the cognitive load of the user
  • Following User Centric Design (UCD) best practices and ensuring designs are consistent with EXL Analytics' branding guidelines
  • Working on a fast and iterative basis, and refining mockups according to the feedback
  • Ability to identify best possible re-suable design and creation of re-usable modules/utilities
  • Collaborate with dashboard developers to ensure that visualization is top notch as per the UI/UX principles
  • Create documentation and style guides for the dashboard templates, color theme, and best practices ensuring consistent usage across the organization
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest UI/UX trends and best practices
