We have also partnered for Asia rollouts with some of the largest global companies across social media, travel tech & marketing tech. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Analyze variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and actionable recommendations to management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Participate in annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts.
  • Track and analyze budget vs. actual expenditures, providing explanations for variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Record to Report (R2R) Operations:
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records in compliance with financial policies.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Process Optimization and Compliance:
  • Implement financial controls and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accounting processes, leveraging lean methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate closely with finance, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to meet compliance and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) required. Additional qualifications (e.g., CS, MBA Finance) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting and financial management, preferably with experience in a multi-entity organization r environment.
  • Skills:
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and improve financial controls.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
