BI Manager will be responsible for managing projects related to business intelligence (BI) visualization. The individual will work with stakeholders to identify requirements, develop plans, and execute projects to deliver BI solutions that meet business needs. The BI Visualization Project Manager will also be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, experience with Power BI, and a proven ability to manage and interpret complex datasets.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to identify requirements and design solutions to meet business needs.
Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans
Manage project resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities
Conduct status meetings, prepare status reports, and communicate project updates to stakeholders
Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to BI visualization and project management
Develop and maintain robust data models that serve as the foundation for insightful analytics. Ensure the models are efficient, scalable, and accurately represent business processes.
Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and BI specialists. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest BI trends and technologies.
Skills required:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of experience and architect level experience in BI visualization
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and QlikView is compulsory
Must have worked on large-scale BI visualization projects from start to finish, has experience in Oracle DB2 tools , SQL and snowflake enterprise..
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Experience with Agile project management methodologies
PMP certification is a plus
