Administration of day to day administrative, marketing & operational issues.
Ensure effective regional operations and team handling
Identify staff requirements and report to the Corporate HR.
Schedule and arrange weekly duties, at least three working days in advance.
Initiate disciplinary actions against staff for any delinquency, negligence in duty.
Performance assessment of staff in consultation with HODs to be assessed every month and report to be submitted to HR every 3 months with copy to Corporate Management Team & Business Head.
Staff rotation across branches should be informed and reasons for rotation to Corporate HR.
Meet statutory requirements.
Liaise with Government and other agencies.
Fixed asset register should be made with index numbers of items including the list of assets placed in the branches of your region. Index number should be written on each item.
Ensure timely supply of Reagents/Chemicals to the branches and ascertain availability of Reagents/Chemicals in the Region Laboratory.
Resolve conflicts between Departments/Staff.
Waste management as per PCB rules.
Monitor the use & maintenance of regional vehicles. Monthly petrol expense, kilometre used and maintenance expenses if any to be reported in writing to General Manager (Finance & Accounts) and CC to Business Head.
Monitor the use & maintenance of generators/ UPS and other backup systems.
Total Control expenses including running expenditure per month on electricity, petrol, telephone, fax etc. to be intimated to General Manager (Finance & Accounts).
Carry out necessary civil works with approval of General Manager (Administration).
Guarantee cleanliness of Laboratories including toilets and surroundings.
Ensure continuous supply of water and electricity to branches and units and monthly expenses to be reported to General Manager (Finance & Accounts) and General Manager (Administration).
Implement safety measures to personnel / assets.
Pre planned arrangements to face circumstances like Hartal, Bandh etc.
Propose annual targets in consultation with all Corporate Management Team.
Supervise and monitor business performances on a daily basis in consultation with Zonal Sales Head.
Ensure unit wise profitability.
Endorse free & discount bills.
Convene meeting of Collection boys on a weekly basis and dues to be recovered in full. Accounts should be verified two days in advance of convening the meeting of Collection boys and prepare yourself to put up stress for recovery & credit pending.
Identify weak performance areas and take corrective steps.
Ensure maximum possible customer satisfaction and make sure quality maintenance procedures in all the laboratories.
Propose and start new branches, collection centres and area operations after proper feasibility study.
Ensure timely dispatch of reports to patients and customers.
Ensure quality standards discussion with QM & functional heads are essential.
Pay regular visit to branches (At least once in a month) and submit report to Corporate Management Team & Business Head.
Promote institutional business in consultation with Marketing Departments.
Propose and implement adequate branding exercise like Camps, CMEs etc.
Make presentations during MRM on regional performances.
Ensure adequate supports and proper authorization on vouchers.
Ensure timely cash deposit in banks.
Ensure safe keeping and transfer of cash within Region.
Propose regional budgets in consultation with Business Head.
Approve TA/DA payments. Any payment which is not within the norms of the company should be compensated.
Ensure timely dispatch of monthly reports to the respective Corporate Management Team.
Monitor pending recovery within credit period. Details of pending payment reports of our customers including collection boys are to be intimated during every 7th of the succeeding month to Business Head with copy to General Manager (Finance & Accounts).
Have a working awareness of the ISO-15189 and NABL-112 standards.
Arrange regular internal audits to assess and monitor the performance of the departments.
Introduce counselling of staff at least once in a month. Training should be given to operate Fire Hazard Equipments and also make sure the serviceability of such equipments under building rules.
Break down of the equipments if any to be reported to General Manager (Operations) with copy to Business Head. Alternate steps are to be taken to send the sample for processing after intimation to Regional concerned.
Adopt innovative and new business ideas.
Identify lapses and weaknesses in Marketing and implement corrections.
Evaluate & recommend proposals from Marketing team for better business promotions like camps, CMEs etc.
Market special tests.
Analyse Marketing operations and send MIS to General Manager (Finance & Accounts) and General Manager (Operations) and Business Head.
Conduct surprise visits to branches, Hospitals, Routes.
Conduct daily marketing meeting and submit weekly summary of Marketing meeting with weekly achievement figures to Business Head and Corporate Management Team.
Organize Marketing trainings.
You have to follow the decency and decorum in dress code of the establishment and to be neat and tidy.
You should strictly follow duty timing as assigned by concerned authorities.
You are not to disclose or make public any matter relating to the companys transactions, dealings or plans which are of confidential nature.
The Staff should make their own arrangement to ensure their attendance during Harthal/ Bandh/Strike. If not, it shall be considered LOP without leave.
You are not allowed to call for any strike or agitate against the establishment and could not do any acts which are detrimental for the smooth functioning of the establishment.
You are not allowed to form any association or group of themselves or not to be any part or member of any trade union within the premises of this establishment.
Do not act against the interest and goodwill of the establishment.
You have to strictly abide all laws and regulations of the establishment and to honour the instructions issued from the management from time to time through concerned authorities.
