Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Site Incharge / HOD (Steel Plant) with Executive to join our team at DCS Group. As the Mechanical Site Incharge / HOD, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical operations at our steel plant located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical operations, preferably in a steel plant
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the steel industry
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the mechanical operations of our steel plant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical equipment
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and production activities
- Manage a team of mechanical technicians and provide guidance and support
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to mechanical operations, including maintenance records and reports
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices
