ROLE : Java Technical Lead ( DATA ENGINEER )

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Technical (Tech) Lead to be responsible for providing solutions for technical and functional issues which may affect product delivery. He or she will facilitate requirement, data analysis, conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and drive customer implementations.

To be successful as the Tech Lead, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in Java and Database technologies. Ultimately, the Tech Lead should possess good data analytical skills, the ability to anticipate issues and frame remedial actions, and excellent teamwork skills.

Requirements:

        At least 8 years of overall development experience

        5+ years of experience in Data Engineering role

        Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines, architectures, and data sets

        5+ years experience in writing SQL statements

        Experience in Spring/Spring Boot framework

        Experience in relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle and SnowFlake, BigQuery and other cloud databases

        Experience in implementing web services such as SOAP and RESTful web services

        Experience in frontend frameworks such as Angular, jQuery and Bootstrap

        Has experience with real time and batch data processing

        Experience with ETL frameworks such as Google Cloud Data platform or Apache Beam

        Experience with analyzing data and deriving insights

        Have experience in leading small to midsize technical team

        Has customer facing experience and managing deliverables

        Good verbal and written communication skills

        Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies

        Advanced understanding of software testing methodologies, scripting and tools

        Minimum experience of three or more full SDLC for web application projects
