Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Fitter to join our team at DCS Group. As a Fabrication Fitter, you will be responsible for performing various fitting and fabrication tasks to assemble sheet metal components. This is a junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience. The job location is Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Fabrication Fitter
- ITI fiiter certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of fitter and metal fabrication techniques
- Proficiency in welding and brazing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of sheet metal components
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand the fabrication requirements
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using appropriate tools and equipment
- Perform welding and brazing operations to join metal parts
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for defects
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors
