Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and we are looking for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop support.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1-3 years of experience in desktop support
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience in desktop operating systems installation and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in application troubleshooting and support
  • Experience in printer troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), and ITIL are preferred


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding computer hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software problems in a timely manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and software applications
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system and software upgrades
  • Ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and network connectivity
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving network issues
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Assist in the maintenance of IT inventory and documentation
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of hardware and software
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in desktop support
